Architectural Entrance Drawing
Dodd Hall
Florida State University
AutoCAD Software
This project dictated that I select a unique historic door of sufficient architectural complexity on the Florida State University campus.
I took photographs of each of the various elements and recreated the composition in an AutoCAD elevation.
This project highlights my attention to detail and desire for an honest representation of design elements.

Revit + Lumion Software
In an effort to recruit university students to move to their city, the City Council of Skagit Valley, Washington is funding a traveling roadshow to highlight the city’s culture and its future. They are seeking designs for traveling exhibit that would embody their unique culture, and emphasize what makes the city great. Their goal is to create an immersive micro-museum experience to recruit bright, young residents.

Design Considerations:
- The kiosk needs to fit within a 12’ x 12’ x 12’ volume.
- The kiosk needs to be built of lightweight materials that disassemble.
- The kiosk should include 1 point of entry and a separate exit.
- The kiosk should allow for 3-5 people within the space at any given time.
- The kiosk should allow for opportunities to engage and excite.
- The kiosk should consider sightlines both from outside and within the kiosk.

This project helped me design and communicate details of a lighting fixture that meets functional, aesthetic and fabrication goals for a client.
Over the course of this project I learned:
- about the fixture prototype process and its visual
communication in hand and digital forms
- how to apply the design process to the design of a
specific lighting fixture
